Cutera® Laser Genesis Treatments: What Can They Do For Me? (Part 2)

In a recent blog, West Houston Dermatology Laser & Skincare Center brought patients information about Cutera® Laser Genesis and how it can achieve patient goals such as eliminating past sun damage, reducing the size of enlarged pores, erasing excessive skin redness, and evening the skin tone.  Because this treatment does not involve an ablative laser and the treatment is non-invasive, results following each treatment are subtle yet effective.  Though each patient is unique in their medical or cosmetic goals, most patients require four to six treatments in order to achieve optimal results. Cutera® Laser Genesis’ primary mechanism of action is gently heating the upper dermis below the skin’s surface.  This stimulates collagen re-growth, which is the key to treating many anti-aging concerns.  In terms of dilated capillaries, this gentle heating helps to reduce redness, and therefore the appearance of small veins on the face – usually appearing around the nose.  Rather than applying a “cookie cutter approach” to cosmetic dermatology,  our providers treat each and every patient as a unique individual .  Contact our office and give West Houston Dermatology Laser & Skincare Center the opportunity to create an individual plan to provide a rejuvenated, fresh-faced appearance for Spring.
